On a beautiful summer day in the San Juan Islands, we headed down to South Beach for a lifestyle family session. Jenny had mentioned that she’d loved to do an adventure family session, documenting her family doing what they loved- spending time in the outdoors. For me, this photo session summed up favorites memories of growing up in the island. We lived for long summer nights spent around a bonfire on the south end of the islands. Usually South Beach can be quite windy, but every once in awhile there’s only a soft breeze and a fantastic view of the Olympic Mountains watching the sunset with us. All in all, it was such a beautiful evening with a lovely island family.
