This Deception Pass Engagement Session was one of my favorite sessions to date. These two have their wedding at Roche Harbor, San Juan Island later on in the year, but traveled to meet me for an adventure engagement session from Seattle. We explored Deception Pass State Park fairly thoroughly. They had never been there, so it was a lot of fun to show them some of my favorite locations, especially the color of the water under the bridge during the more extreme tidal exchanges. True to form, I had them climbing over rocks and dancing by the water in their formal wear, but C&H didn’t seem to mind. I have loved working with these two and watching their love for one another throughout our photo sessions and their wedding.
